This is a photo of our 5 year old cow, Elgin Park Memphis being clipped up in preparation for the Victorian Breed Show this Saturday 18th October.

What sort of clippers do you use?
There are so many on the market that its hard to know which one to start with.

We use Heiniger - with a clipping headpiece and also a shearing headpiece. Can be expensive to obtain good clippers so you need to be sure showing will be part of your ongoing agenda. It's often a good idea to get someone else do your clipping at the start until you are sure it's what you want to go on with.
