It seems that this is a good time to promote our Dexter cattle. We have just sold two steers to a 10 acre property with way too much grass for slashing. Kerry hates mowing and hopes our steers will save her a lot of work. Barbara and David bought a cow in calf to go on their 12 acres which has a reasonable amount of grass at the moment. Having had Dexter Cattle before they were well aware of what they could do with them. One of the key factors that helped with these sales was the DCAI gate sign we had put up. Barbara had seen it when travelling past several months ago. So she knew where to find us when she made the decision to get a cow. I would be interested in knowing if other breeders in areas which have had some good rain are also seeing an increase in the level of interest.
